Population Health Programs
We are currently organizing chronic care programs to support Teachers Health Trust participants. If you believe you are a candidate and would like more information, please select the link below to fill out the corresponding forms and email them to your Healthcare Advocate.
Specialists Referral Update
Beginning April 1st, 2016, you will require a referral from your Patient-Centered Medical Home Primary Care Doctor in order to not acquire additional out-of-pocket expenses. As a courtesy, letters are being sent to all of our educators with their Primary Care Selections to ensure you know who your Primary Care doctor is. Prescription Drug Changes
A new out-of-pocket maximum pharmacy plan is being implemented for all prescription drugs and is slated to go into effect mid-March.
Telemedicine program is now live
Participants now have the ability to access medical and behavioral health providers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Telemedicine. Providers will be able to diagnose and treat numerous conditions and stressors, when the need arises.
Important News for Teachers Health Trust Diabetic Participants!
Recognizing the high cost of medications needed to treat diabetes, the Teachers Health Trust (Trust) is pleased to announce a new program that will limit the maximum amount you will pay out of pocket for your monthly medications.

Affordable Healthcare Exchange Notification
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) requires that employers provide to all employees the “New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage” exchange notification.

To assist you as you evaluate your options, this notification provides you with basic information about the plans offered through the Teachers Health Trust, as well as information about the new Marketplace coverage, if you are interested and you decide to obtain other coverage.

The Summary of Coverage documentation for the Trust's Performance Plus Plan is now available for your review. This documents is meant to provide you with a summary of what your out-of-pocket costs could be for services received under this plan.
Teachers Health Trust and Retiree Health Trust Annual Financial Audit
The annual financial audits are performed by Kafoury, Armstrong & Company, an independent professional Corporation of Certified Public Accountants. The audit for 2014 has been completed and the financial status of the Teachers Health Trust and the Retiree Health Trust as of June 30, 2014.
